Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains what personal data El Nabi Dental Clinic collects through elnabidentalclinic.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language. If anything is unclear, please contact us.
1. Who we are
The website is operated by El Nabi Dental Clinic, Maadi, Cairo, Egypt, led by Prof. Nouran Abdel Nabi. El Nabi Dental Clinic is the controller of the personal data described in this policy, which means we decide how and why it is used.

2. The law that applies
We handle personal data in line with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in particular the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. Under that law, health data is treated as sensitive personal data and deserves extra care. For that reason we never ask for medical details through the website. Please do not type information about your health, symptoms or medical history into the callback form. We will discuss your medical history in person, at the clinic, as part of your examination.
3. What we collect and why
3.1 When you simply browse the website
The website is a static HTML site. It has no user accounts, and we do not ask you to log in. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information in server logs when your browser requests a page: your IP address, your browser and device type (user agent), the date and time of the request and the address (URL) of the page requested. These logs are kept by the host for security purposes, such as detecting attacks and fixing errors, and are kept only for a short period. We do not use them to identify you or to build a profile of you.
3.2 When you request a callback
If you fill in our callback form, we collect:
- your name;
- your phone number;
- the treatment you are interested in;
- your preferred time for us to call you; and
- your consent tick, confirming that you agree to us contacting you about your enquiry.
We use this information only to call you back, answer your questions and, if you wish, arrange an appointment. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
The form is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Your enquiry is emailed to info@elnabidentalclinic.com (an email account hosted by 20i through its StackMail service) and is also stored in a protected file on our web server that is not publicly accessible.
To protect the form from spam and abuse we use a hidden "honeypot" field, a check on how quickly the form was submitted and a hashed (scrambled, not raw) version of your IP address to limit repeated submissions. The hashed IP is kept for up to 1 hour and then discarded.
3.3 When you contact us by phone or WhatsApp
The phone and WhatsApp buttons on the website simply open the phone or WhatsApp app on your own device. The website does not record the call or the message. If you message us on WhatsApp, the message is processed by WhatsApp (owned by Meta) under its own terms; see the WhatsApp privacy policy. We use what you tell us only to reply to you and to manage your appointment.
3.4 Google Maps and directions
Our map is not loaded until you click "Show map". Until then, no connection is made to Google from the map area. When you choose to load the map, Google may receive your IP address and may set cookies on your device. Google processes this information under the Google privacy policy.
Our directions feature lets you type a starting address or click "Use my location". If you click "Use my location", your browser will ask for your permission first. Your location is used only inside your own browser to build the route, and it is sent to Google Maps only when you ask for the route. El Nabi Dental Clinic never receives or stores your location.
3.5 Cookies
The website uses no advertising trackers. With your consent only, it uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and actions such as tapping Call or WhatsApp, requesting directions or sending the callback form. We never send your name, phone number or messages to Google Analytics, and you can decline or change your choice at any time. Full details are in our cookie policy.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the website:
- 20i (Stack CP), our hosting provider, which hosts the website, the protected enquiry file and our email. Its servers are in the UK/EU, and it uses a content delivery network (CDN) to deliver pages quickly.
- Google, only if you choose to load the map or request directions.
- WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
We may also disclose information if Egyptian law requires us to do so.
Directions tool
Our "Get directions" tool can use your current location only if you press "Use my location" and allow it in your browser. Your location is read by your own browser and passed directly to Google Maps to draw the route; it is never sent to or stored on our server. You can instead type a starting point, or simply open the route in the Google Maps app.
5. Data stored outside Egypt
Because our website and email are hosted by 20i in the UK/EU, enquiry data and server logs are stored outside Egypt. We use a reputable provider, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, and we keep the data for the shortest time we need.

If you become a patient, the records created at the clinic are handled separately from the website and in line with Egyptian law.
7. How we protect your data
The whole website is served over HTTPS. Enquiries are stored in a protected server file that is not publicly accessible, and only authorised clinic staff can read our email. We collect as little information as possible, and we deliberately avoid collecting health information through the website.
8. Your rights
Under Egyptian data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data;
- object to how we use your data;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it; and
- complain to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Centre (PDPC).

9. Children
The website is not directed at people under 18. Appointments for children should be made by a parent or guardian, who can use the callback form, phone or WhatsApp on the child's behalf.
10. Links to other websites
Our website links to some third-party services, such as Google Maps and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for how those services handle your data, so please read their own privacy policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if we add a new feature or service. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
