Short answer
As of October 2026, public listings in Maadi show a single dental implant at roughly 10,000–30,000 EGP, with discount offers from about 5,950–7,800 EGP, and full-jaw implant treatment from 40,000 to over 200,000 EGP. Your exact cost depends on an examination, the implant system, any bone grafting and the crown material.

As of October 2026, public listings for clinics in Maadi put a single dental implant at roughly 10,000–30,000 EGP, with promotional offers advertised from about 5,950–7,800 EGP. Full-jaw treatment, where several implants support a whole arch of teeth, ranges from about 40,000 EGP to more than 200,000 EGP. These are market figures gathered from public listings, not a quote, and the price that applies to you can only be worked out after an examination and, usually, a 3D scan.
The wide range is not random. Two patients who both "need one implant" can need very different amounts of work. Below we explain what you are actually paying for, so you can compare quotes fairly and ask the right questions.
Typical dental implant prices in Cairo (October 2026)
The table summarises ranges seen in public listings across Cairo, with a focus on Maadi. Treat them as a guide to the market, not as fixed prices.
| Item | Typical range in public listings | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Single implant (Maadi listings) | 10,000–30,000 EGP | Often quoted for the implant alone; check whether the crown is included |
| Discount or promotional offers | 5,950–7,800 EGP | Usually the implant fixture only, often a specific system |
| Full-jaw implants (fixed or removable) | 40,000–200,000+ EGP | Depends on number of implants and type of final teeth |
| Zirconia crown on an implant | About USD 95–250 | Varies with the lab and whether a custom abutment is used |
| Consultation | 200–500 EGP | X-rays or a CBCT scan may be charged separately |
What changes the cost of a dental implant
An implant is not one item. It is a small titanium (or sometimes zirconia) fixture placed in the jaw, a connector called an abutment, and a crown or bridge on top, plus the planning and surgery that tie them together. Each part has options that move the price.
1. The implant system
Implant brands differ in research history, manufacturing quality and the availability of compatible parts years later. Systems with long clinical track records and wide international support usually cost more than less-documented ones. The difference matters most in the long run: if a screw loosens or a crown needs replacing in ten years, you want parts that are still easy to obtain.
2. Bone grafting or a sinus lift
An implant needs enough healthy bone around it. After a tooth has been missing for a while, the jaw often shrinks. Rebuilding it with a bone graft or sinus lift adds material costs, surgical time and sometimes an extra healing stage. This is one of the most common reasons two quotes for "one implant" differ.
3. The crown material
The visible tooth on top can be porcelain fused to metal, monolithic zirconia, layered zirconia or a glass-ceramic such as E.max. Zirconia is strong and commonly used on back teeth; layered or glass-ceramic options can give a more natural look at the front but cost more. You can read more about these choices on our crowns and bridges page.
4. The number of implants and the design
Replacing one tooth needs one implant. Replacing three neighbouring teeth may need only two implants supporting a bridge. A full arch can be restored with four, five or six implants, or with two implants holding a removable overdenture. Fewer implants is not automatically cheaper overall if it requires more grafting or a more complex prosthesis, so the plan has to be judged as a whole.
5. The 3D scan and planning
A cone-beam CT (CBCT) scan shows bone height, width and the position of nerves and sinuses. In more complex cases a printed surgical guide may be made from the scan. These steps add to the cost but reduce guesswork, and many clinicians consider a 3D scan standard before implant surgery.
6. Temporary teeth, follow-up and maintenance
Some plans include a temporary tooth or denture during healing, follow-up visits and the first professional cleaning. Others charge for these separately. Ask exactly what is included so you compare like with like.
Why the lowest quote is not always the lowest total cost
Promotional prices are real, but they are often for the implant fixture alone. Once the abutment, crown, scan and any grafting are added, the total may be close to a standard quote. More importantly, the cost of fixing a poorly planned implant, such as one placed at the wrong angle or without enough bone, is usually far higher than the original saving.
A fair comparison asks: what system is used, is the crown included, is a 3D scan included, who places the implant, and what happens if the implant does not integrate with the bone?
Implants compared with a bridge or denture on cost
A bridge or a removable denture usually costs less at the start. In the Cairo market, an acrylic denture is typically quoted around 8,000–15,000 EGP and a chrome-cobalt denture around 10,000–20,000 EGP. However, a bridge requires shaping the healthy neighbouring teeth, and dentures do not stop bone loss under them. Over many years, an implant can be good value for the right patient, but it is not the right choice for everyone. Our guide on implants vs bridge vs denture walks through the trade-offs.
Who should not start with cost alone
If you have uncontrolled diabetes, active gum disease, are a heavy smoker, or take certain medications that affect bone (such as some osteoporosis or cancer treatments), the first conversation should be about safety and suitability, not price. In some of these situations an implant may still be possible after the condition is managed; in others, a well-made denture or bridge is the safer option.
How we plan and quote implants at El Nabi
At our clinic in Maadi, implant treatment is planned by Prof. Nouran Abdel Nabi, whose research in prosthodontics focuses on implant-supported teeth and dentures. We start with an examination, review your medical history and, where needed, a 3D scan. We then explain the options that suit your mouth, which may include an implant, a bridge, a denture or an implant-retained overdenture, along with the risks and the expected number of visits.
You receive a written, itemised plan showing what each stage includes, so there are no surprises later. We do not quote a final price before seeing the bone and gums, because any number given without that information would be a guess.
Questions to ask any clinic before agreeing to a price
- Which implant system will you use, and will parts be available in the future?
- Does the price include the abutment and the final crown? Which crown material?
- Is a CBCT scan included, or charged separately?
- Will I need a bone graft or sinus lift, and is it in the quote?
- Who places the implant and who makes the final teeth?
- What is the plan if the implant does not heal into the bone?
When to book an assessment
If you have recently lost a tooth, an early assessment can sometimes avoid the need for grafting later, because bone shrinks most in the first months after an extraction. If you are comparing quotes, bring them along and we will explain the differences. To start, you can message us on WhatsApp or book through our contact page.
