Short answer
As of October 2026, public listings in Cairo price a Hollywood smile per tooth: about 1,500–4,000 EGP for composite veneers and about 3,000–9,000 EGP for E.max or porcelain veneers. A smile of 8–10 ceramic veneers therefore often totals roughly 25,000–90,000 EGP, and published packages for both arches run about 50,000–110,000 EGP. Your exact cost depends on an examination.

A Hollywood smile in Egypt is not sold as one fixed product. It is priced per tooth, then multiplied by the number of teeth that show when you smile. As of October 2026, public listings in Cairo put composite veneers at roughly 1,500–4,000 EGP per tooth and E.max or porcelain veneers at roughly 3,000–9,000 EGP per tooth. Clinics that publish full-smile packages for both upper and lower teeth quote about 50,000–110,000 EGP.
That is a wide range, and it is the main reason people feel confused after collecting three quotes. Below we break down what you are actually paying for, how many teeth most people need, and how to spot an offer that is cheap for the wrong reasons. Whatever the figures below, the exact cost for your mouth can only be set after an examination.
How is a Hollywood smile priced in Egypt?
"Hollywood smile" is a popular name for a planned smile makeover, usually with veneers on the front teeth and sometimes crowns, whitening or gum shaping. Because each tooth is a separate piece made by hand or by milling, the bill follows a simple formula:
- Price per tooth, which depends on the material (composite, E.max or other porcelain, or zirconia).
- Number of teeth, usually 6 to 10 on the top jaw, sometimes the lower teeth too.
- Preparatory treatment that some mouths need first: cleaning, fillings, root canal treatment, gum treatment or orthodontics.
- Planning steps such as photos, a digital design or a trial "mock-up" smile in temporary material.
Two quotes can therefore look very different simply because one includes 6 teeth and the other 10, or because one covers cleaning and a mock-up while the other does not. Always ask what the number includes.
Hollywood smile price per tooth: composite vs E.max vs zirconia
The table shows typical per-tooth ranges from public listings in Cairo as of October 2026, multiplied by common smile sizes. Multiplying the top of each range overstates the upper totals, because many clinics price multi-tooth cases as a package.
| Material | Per tooth (EGP) | 6 teeth | 8 teeth | 10 teeth |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Composite veneers (resin, built directly on the tooth) | 1,500–4,000 | 9,000–24,000 | 12,000–32,000 | 15,000–40,000 |
| E.max / porcelain veneers (lab-made ceramic) | 3,000–9,000 | 18,000–54,000 | 24,000–72,000 | 30,000–90,000 |
| Zirconia crowns (cover the whole tooth) | 2,500–9,500 | 15,000–57,000 | 20,000–76,000 | 25,000–95,000 |
For both arches (upper and lower, often 16–20 teeth), published package prices in Cairo run roughly 50,000–110,000 EGP, and highly customised work can cost more. A few premium clinics also list individual ceramic veneers at up to about 15,000 EGP per tooth.
Composite veneers: lower cost, more upkeep
Composite is tooth-coloured resin sculpted directly onto your teeth, often in one or two visits. It usually needs little or no drilling and is easy to repair, but it stains and wears faster. Most composite veneers need polishing or replacement after around 5–7 years.
E.max and porcelain veneers: higher cost, longer life
Ceramic veneers are made in a dental laboratory and bonded to the front of the teeth. They resist staining and, with good care, commonly last 10–15 years or longer. They usually need a thin layer of enamel to be shaped, which cannot be reversed. Our guide on how long veneers last compares the two in detail.
Zirconia crowns: only when a tooth really needs one
Some "Hollywood smile" offers use full zirconia crowns on every front tooth. A crown covers the whole tooth, so it removes much more tooth structure than a veneer. Crowns make sense for teeth that are heavily filled, broken or root-treated, not for healthy teeth that only need a colour or shape change. See zirconia crown prices in Egypt for crown-specific costs.
How many teeth do you need for a Hollywood smile?
Most people do not need 20 veneers. The number depends on how wide your smile is and which teeth actually bother you.
- 4–6 teeth: enough for a narrow smile, or to fix a few chipped or uneven front teeth.
- 8–10 teeth: the most common choice for a broad smile, covering the teeth visible from the side.
- Upper and lower arches: usually only when the lower teeth also show clearly or are worn or discoloured.
A good plan starts with photos of you talking and smiling naturally, not with a fixed package. Sometimes whitening the lower teeth to match is enough, which saves a large part of the cost.
Why do Hollywood smile quotes in Cairo vary so much?
- Material and brand: pressed E.max, layered porcelain and different grades of zirconia have different lab costs.
- Laboratory and technician: hand-layered, individually coloured veneers cost more than standard milled ones.
- Digital planning: a digital smile design and a trial mock-up add a step but let you see the result before any tooth is shaped.
- The condition of your teeth and gums: decay, old fillings, gum inflammation or a crooked bite need treating first.
- The dentist's training and time: careful, minimal preparation and precise bonding take longer.
- What is included: temporaries, follow-up visits, a night guard if you grind, and adjustments.
Red flags in very cheap Hollywood smile offers
A lower price is not automatically a problem. But be cautious if an offer includes any of the following:
- A full-mouth price given on the phone or on social media before anyone has examined you or taken an X-ray.
- Crowns on every healthy front tooth when veneers or simple bonding would do.
- All teeth shaped in one visit without a preview of the final shape and colour.
- No mention of gum health, decay or grinding.
- Pressure to decide on the same day, or a discount that "expires today".
- No clear written plan listing the material, the number of teeth and what happens if a veneer debonds.
Because preparing teeth for veneers or crowns is irreversible, a cheap smile that has to be redone often costs more in the end, both in money and in tooth structure. Our page on whether veneers are safe explains the risks of over-preparation.
Who should not have a Hollywood smile (yet)?
Veneers are a cosmetic treatment, so the mouth needs to be healthy first. A smile makeover is usually postponed or changed if you have:
- Active decay or untreated gum disease.
- Heavy grinding or clenching that is not controlled with a night guard.
- Very crowded or misaligned teeth, where orthodontics may give a more natural and conservative result.
- Teeth with very little enamel left, where bonding is less predictable.
Cheaper alternatives are worth asking about. Professional whitening alone, or whitening plus a few composite bondings, can change a smile noticeably for a fraction of the cost. Even whitening needs healthy teeth and gums first; the UK National Health Service advises against it for people with untreated tooth or gum problems (NHS: teeth whitening).
