Specialist Implant Planning for New Cairo and the Fifth Settlement

New Cairo has no shortage of modern dental clinics along 90th Street and in its malls, so the question is fair: why drive to Maadi? The honest answer is specialisation. When a case involves several missing teeth, a full arch or a second opinion on an implant plan, a prosthodontist's view can be worth the Ring Road drive.

Getting to our clinic

Take 90th Street or the Suez Road to the Ring Road and head west towards Maadi, usually about 25–40 minutes off-peak.

The Ring Road route from New Cairo to Maadi

From the Fifth Settlement and most of New Cairo, the simplest route is to reach the Ring Road, via 90th Street, the Suez Road junction near Cairo Festival City, or the Katameya side, and drive west towards Maadi, taking one of the Maadi exits. Off-peak, the drive is usually about 25–40 minutes. Morning traffic towards Maadi on the Ring Road can be heavy, so midday or evening appointments are often easier.

There is no direct metro link. Because our exact street is not yet published here, we send precise directions and a map pin on WhatsApp when you book.

What New Cairo patients ask us for

Patients from New Cairo often have a clear idea of what they want and have usually done some research. Common requests include fixed full-arch implant teeth for a parent, a single implant to replace a molar, or a natural-looking smile makeover. We are equally likely to discuss whether a simpler option would serve them better.

  • Full-mouth implant treatment — fixed or removable, depending on bone, health and budget; see full-mouth implants.
  • Single implants — including whether an immediate implant after extraction is realistic; read immediate implants and same-day teeth.
  • Smile design — veneers only where they solve a real problem, with whitening or bonding considered first.

Why a prosthodontist for complex implant work

Full-arch and multi-implant cases succeed or fail on planning: tooth position, lip support, bite, how the bridge will be cleaned, and what happens if a part needs repair years later. Prof. Nouran Abdel Nabi is a Professor of Prosthodontics and Dental Implants at Cairo University with published work on implant-retained overdentures, so she can present both fixed and removable implant options and explain the trade-offs fairly.

Full-arch treatment is not for everyone. It involves surgery, a healing period and ongoing maintenance, and it is riskier for smokers, people with uncontrolled diabetes or those taking certain bone medications. A well-made overdenture or conventional denture can be a better fit in those situations. Veneers likewise are not advisable for heavy grinders or where they would require removing a lot of healthy enamel.

Tip: one well-planned visit instead of several

Ask on WhatsApp whether your consultation and 3D scan can be arranged for the same visit. For full-arch planning, also bring photos of your smile from a few years ago; they help with tooth position and shape. For routine cleaning and checkups, a dentist in New Cairo is likely more convenient; the trip is worthwhile for the planning stage.

Common questions

When is the Ring Road quietest from New Cairo to Maadi?

Generally late morning, early afternoon and later in the evening are calmer than the morning and late-afternoon peaks, but conditions change daily with accidents and roadworks. Off-peak, the trip is usually about 25–40 minutes. Check a live map before leaving; we send a map pin on WhatsApp to make that easy.

There are many clinics near me in New Cairo. Why come to Maadi?

For checkups, cleaning and simple fillings, staying local is sensible. Patients usually travel to us for prosthodontist-led planning of full-arch implants, implant-retained overdentures or complex crown work, or for an independent second opinion on a plan they have already received. The decision is yours, and we will be honest if your case is straightforward.

Can I get fixed teeth on the same day as implant surgery?

Sometimes. If the implants achieve enough stability, a temporary fixed bridge can be attached soon after surgery, with the final bridge made after healing. It depends on bone quality, health and bite forces, and it is not suitable for everyone. The examination and scan tell us whether it is realistic for you.
