Driving from Madinaty to Maadi
From Madinaty, head out to the Cairo–Suez Road and drive west towards Cairo, passing El Rehab and the New Cairo junctions, then join the Ring Road towards Maadi and take a Maadi exit. Off-peak, the journey is usually about 35–50 minutes. The Suez Road and Ring Road can both be slow at peak times, so we suggest checking a live map before leaving.
There is no metro link, so most patients drive or use a ride-hailing app. Exact clinic directions and a map pin are sent on WhatsApp after you book.
What Madinaty patients usually want
Many of our Madinaty patients are younger families and working professionals. The requests we hear most often are about appearance and replacing single teeth: whiter teeth for an upcoming occasion, fixing a chipped front tooth, closing small gaps, or replacing a molar lost after a failed root canal.
- Whitening — often the simplest first step; read is teeth whitening safe?
- Veneers or bonding — for chips, gaps and uneven edges, chosen conservatively; see a natural Hollywood smile.
- Single implants — to replace a lost molar where bone and health allow.
Why a prosthodontist for smile and implant work
Cosmetic dentistry that looks good on the day but ignores the bite can chip, wear or cause sensitivity later. Prof. Nouran Abdel Nabi is a Professor of Prosthodontics and Dental Implants at Cairo University. Prosthodontics is the specialty that designs restorations to function as well as look natural. She will tell you when whitening alone is enough and when veneers are genuinely useful.
Veneers require removing some enamel, which cannot be undone, and they are not advisable for heavy grinders or people with untreated gum disease or decay. Whitening can cause temporary sensitivity and does not change the colour of existing fillings or crowns. Implants carry surgical risks and are less predictable in smokers. Our veneers and smile design page covers these alternatives.
Tip: start the conversation before you drive
Send us a few clear photos of your smile and a short note on what bothers you via WhatsApp. We cannot diagnose from photos, but they help us prepare for your first visit, plan how long to allow and tell you whether imaging is likely to be needed, so it can be done the same day. For routine cleanings and checkups, a dentist inside Madinaty is far more convenient; the trip is for planning that deserves careful attention.

Common questions
Is it realistic to come from Madinaty for treatment?
For routine care, a local dentist is more practical. For cosmetic planning or implants, many patients find a few well-planned trips worthwhile. Off-peak, the drive via the Suez Road and Ring Road is usually about 35–50 minutes. We try to group steps sensibly to keep the number of visits down.
Can you assess my smile from photos?
Photos help us understand what you would like to change and prepare for your visit, but they cannot replace an examination. Gum health, decay, the bite and the condition of existing fillings all affect what is advisable. After seeing you in person, we can discuss realistic options and what each involves.
Will whitening work on my front crown too?
No. Whitening changes the colour of natural teeth only; crowns, veneers and fillings keep their original shade. If you have a crown or filling on a front tooth, it may need replacing after whitening to match. We plan the order of treatment so you do not pay twice for the same tooth.
