Getting to our clinic from around Maadi
Because the clinic is inside Maadi itself, getting here is usually the easy part. Most residents arrive by car, ride-hailing app or on foot, and the trip within the neighbourhood is typically about 5 to 15 minutes off-peak. Peak-hour traffic on Road 9, the Corniche and the streets around the Metro can stretch that, so allow a little extra time.
If you prefer public transport, Metro Line 1 stops at Maadi station, close to Road 9. We do not publish the street address yet, so when you book we send exact directions and a live map pin on WhatsApp, which is the simplest way to reach the door without circling the one-way streets.
What Maadi residents most often come in for
Maadi has a mix of long-time families, professionals and older residents who have lived in the same apartment for decades. That mix shows in our appointment book: routine checkups and cleaning for children and parents, and restorative work for adults who have lost teeth or have old crowns that no longer fit well.
For missing teeth, the choice is usually between dental implants, a bridge or a denture. Implants suit many healthy adults with enough bone, but they are not right for everyone: uncontrolled diabetes, heavy smoking and some medications raise the risk of complications, and a bridge or a well-made denture can be a sensible alternative. Our implants vs bridge vs denture guide explains the trade-offs.
Why a prosthodontic focus matters
Placing an implant is only half the job; the tooth or denture on top has to bite correctly and be easy to clean. Prof. Nouran's published research on implant-retained overdentures means planning starts from the final result, not just the surgery. The same thinking applies to crowns and bridges, where fit and bite decide how long the work typically lasts.
A practical tip for Maadi patients
Late-morning appointments tend to avoid both the school run and the evening rush on Road 9. Street parking near the shops can be tight, so a ride-hailing car or a short walk from the Metro is often easier than driving. If you are new to us, start with a checkup and diagnosis so we can plan any treatment in stages that fit your schedule.

Common questions
Is there a dental clinic within walking distance of Maadi Metro station?
Our clinic is in Maadi and many patients reach it from Maadi station on Metro Line 1 by a short walk or a quick taxi ride. Because the exact street address is not published yet, we share precise directions and a map pin on WhatsApp once you book, so you can plan the last few minutes of the trip.
Can I get a dental implant consultation in Maadi without committing to treatment?
Yes. A consultation is an examination and a conversation, not a commitment. Prof. Nouran checks your gums, bone and bite, explains whether an implant suits you and what the alternatives are, and you take time to decide. The exact cost of any plan depends on that examination, so we do not quote prices before seeing you.
My old crowns from years ago look dark at the gum line. Can they be replaced?
Often, yes. A dark line usually comes from older metal-based crowns or from gum recession. After checking the tooth underneath, possibly with an X-ray, replacement with a metal-free crown such as zirconia or E.max may be suitable. Sometimes the tooth needs other treatment first, so we confirm this at your visit.
